Lzturbo is a high performance lz77 based compressor featuring parallel compression/decompression and overlapping i/o. Lzturbo is specially designed for modern processors and multicore systems.the program documentationFeatures:

The author submitted the following configurations in April 11, 2009:
- Benchmark fast compression time: -10, -11, -21, -31, -41
- Benchmark fast decompression: -19, -29, -39
- Benchmark efficiency: -43, -44
- Benchmark highest compression: -59
The author suggested to run -x9 configurations with -p0 and confirmed the program is unstable. (April 22. 2010)

0.94 disqualified: the program crashes at startup when compressing (displays help screen when launched without parameters).
0.94 April 13, 2009 version is listed as 0.94a. -19, -29, -39 crash in Application1.
0.94 April 15, 2009 version is listed as 0.94b with only -19, -29, -39, -59 tested as the author requested. For -59 decoding we use the lzturbo-0.94b-unlzturbo5.zip program with -d -p0.
